Physical activity is a must


blog Human beings were meant to be mobile from the day they were born. Yet, we’d rather sit than stand, walk than run, take the elevator and so and so forth. Even as we grapple with diabetes, obesity and other diseases linked to physical activity, it has never got the attention it deserves. There has not been a single study done on the subject in India. However, the world over, there is rising concern over the effects of physical inactivity. A study by Public Health England shows that around one in two women and a third of all men in the UK are damaging their health as a result of a lack of physical inactivity.
