Scrum Master

Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile/Scrum
ceremonies, coach the team on Agile principles and practices, and ensure the team adheres to Scrum
frameworks to deliver high quality soŌware products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication
skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for moving up the technical product building roadmap

Key Responsibilities
 Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
 Coach and mentor the team on Agile principles, practices, and Scrum framework.
 Remove impediments or blockers to the team’s progress to ensure smooth and continuous delivery.
 Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with
business objectives.
 Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
 Monitor team performance metrics and facilitate discussions to drive improvements.
 Shield the team from external distractions and influences to maintain focus on sprint goals.
 Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile teams to resolve dependencies and promote cross-team
collaboration.
 Ensure that the team follows Agile best practices and guidelines.
 Serve as a servant leader, supporting the team in achieving their goals while promoting self-organization
and empowerment.

Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
 Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent.
 Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
 Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
 Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
 Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
 Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
 Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of learning.
 Leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire team members.
 Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
 Have a structured approach towards self and others’ work. Good to have – Advanced certifications such as
 Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Agilist.

 Familiarity with software development lifecycle, practices, and methodologies.
 Experience working in a versatile team of young to experienced developers.
 Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.
