Job Purpose
1. Deliver quality software systems for internal users and customers.
2. Make the products simple, user-centric, and test-driven.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify opportunities during requirements gathering phase of development and design testing plan.
• Plan, allocate, and distribute testing tasks.
• Work closely with operations department to understand the business goal and build a high-quality product.
• Build a testing framework (frontend, backend, and integration) and define testing parameters based on input from the product design team.
• Develop test cases and create testing environments for checking the product.
• Provide suggestions wherever required.
• Conduct data analysis using the test results and suggest development/deployment process improvements.
• Validate reported production issues and detail the tickets according to priority.
• Execute manual and automated testing,
a. Test the functionalities, systems performance, and services.
b. Report defects or bugs and assist the development team in understanding.
c. Prepare and present test reports. d. Ensure accuracy and quality of the software deliverables.
Key Performance Indicators:
• Keep product bugs to the bear minimum.
• Ensure Turn Around Time (TAT) of the bugs reported within the SLA.
• Deliver product features and enhancements within the committed deadline.
• Impact of the suggested features and enhancements
Educational Qualification
• B. E. / B. Tech. Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering Experience
• 3-6 years’ experience in product development Skills and Competencies
• Postman collections / runner.
• Frontend automation framework such as Selenium. The candidate should have run 2-3 projects in selenium automation suit.
• Familiarity with deployment process and code approval mechanisms, handling merge requests in dev environment – MS Office – Excel, Word, PPT.
• Ability to manage tasks of junior testing resources.
